Masonry Framed Home
Building Stages & Construction Advantages

Masonry framed homes can usually be built in the same period of time as a stick built home however, the construction advantages outweigh a stick built home.Concrete is an environmentally friendly product using earth produced products, natural and recycled materials. Concrete does not excrete VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) or toxins into the air, unlike some wood materials, allowing for a healthy living environment.

Concrete masonry is not affected by exterior environments while under construction which can cause wood rot and warping in stick built homes. Masonry framed homes are more efficient over the life of the home, with relatively no outside repair, painting or replacement needs. Masonry framed homes are virtually maintenance-free, with home exteriors always looking new, the resale value is enhanced. Concrete masonry framed homes also avoid nail holes breaking through the dry wall which typically effect stick built homes. Unlike wood and wood products where pests and termites can feed, concrete offers no food source for mold and fungus to grow and cause unhealthy environments.
